The KinderKunstLabor [translated: Children’s Art Lab] is currently being set up in Lower Austria. The KinderKunstLabor will be an institution for contemporary art. [Contemporary art means: it is art of today.] Here, the possibilities of curating and art mediation are discussed. [Curating means, for example: someone selects the artworks for an exhibition]. How can participative and co-creative processes lead to international exhibition projects? How can new forms of collaboration be created in this area? Inclusive and with people of all generations?
The lecture is free of charge.
The event is part of the lecture series Lern-Spiel-Raum. Together with the University of Osnabrück, the Kunsthalle invites you to 3 public lectures. They are part of 2 seminars. In terms of content, the focus is on the negotiation of learning spaces in and outside the museum, school or university. What can collaborative spaces for art look like? And how can they facilitate new approaches and a willingness to engage in dialogue?
