Our Rooms for Your Ideas
You have an idea? A project of your own? Or are you planning an event? The rooms of the Kunsthalle Osnabrück can also be rented. Inside and outside the exhibition programme. This can be the mediation room in the new building. The nave. Or the entire Kunsthalle. For private or public events. Or for filming.
The Kunsthalle checks the availability and spatial and personnel capacities for each rental enquiry.

New Building
Kunsthalle Osnabrück’s mediation room has been in the new building since June 2024. It was designed by Julia Miorin. This is where the Kunsthalle’s art mediation programmes take place. And also events. The mediation room can be used flexibly and in many different ways.

- Approx. 200 square metres
- Suitable for approx. 200 people (row seating for approx. 100 people)
- Neighbouring inner courtyard (shared use possible by arrangement)
Equipment New Building
- Work tables
- Benches and chairs (seating for up to 100 people)
- Mobile bar/counter
- Technical equipment: screen (+ HDMI cable), PA system (incl. loudspeakers, mixer, 2 microphones), projector (a screen can be hired for an additional charge)
Prices New Building
- Regular hourly rate: 300.00 euros/hour
(daily hire by individual arrangement) - Reduced price: 300.00 euros/day
(for NGOs, charitable foundations or associations) - Outside opening hours, personnel costs are incurred in addition to the rent
(15.00 euros/hour per supervisor)
Nave
Changing exhibitions are shown in the nave of the Kunsthalle Osnabrück. The use of the nave for events is only possible to a limited extent. This is partly due to the special architecture. On the other hand, it depends on the exhibitions that are shown in the nave.

- Approx. 700 square metres
- Suitable for approx. 400 people(row seating for approx. 250 people)
Equipment Nave
The nave has no fixed equipment or technology. By prior arrangement, equipment and technology from the Kunsthalle can be hired (for an additional charge).
- Work tables
- Benches and chairs (seating for up to 100 people)
- Mobile bar/counter
- Technical equipment: PA system (incl. loudspeakers, mixer, 2 microphones), projector (a screen can be hired for an additional charge)

- Regular hourly rate: 500.00 euros/hour(daily hire by individual arrangement)
- Reduced price: 500.00 euros/day(for NGOs, charitable foundations or associations)
- Outside opening hours, staff costs are charged in addition to the hire fee(15.00 euros/hour per supervisor)
Inner Courtyard
In addition to the interior rooms, the Kunsthalle also has an inner courtyard. Changing installations are shown here. The inner courtyard can only be hired for events in the evening (after 17:00) or at weekends.

The inner courtyard has no fixed equipment or technology. By prior arrangement, the Kunsthalle’s equipment and technology can be hired (for an additional charge).
