At an Artothek [art library], you can rent art for a certain period of time at a reasonable price. It works just like a library. You can then hang the art in your home, office, or practice, for example.

The Artothek at the Kunsthalle Osnabrück has been around for over 30 years. You will find more than 1,000 artworks in the Artothek. These include paintings, drawings, photographs and sculptures. The artworks in the Artothek are by international and regional artists. This means that some artists come from other countries and some from Osnabrück or the surrounding area. And the Artothek is constantly growing. Did you particularly like an exhibition at the Kunsthalle? Then you might find an artwork of this particular artist in the Artothek.
