Kunsthalle Osnabrück opens the second part of its annual theme “ Spirits.” With solo exhibitions by !Mediengruppe Bitnik and Cornelia Herfurtner. In the second part “Spirits,” starting on 29 November 2025, the exhibitions deal with the spirit as an expression of personal approaches and convictions. In various ways, the artists negotiate questions of moral courage, freedom of expression, and protest as socio-political responsibility. Which ideological ghosts, which we thought were resting in the past, are increasingly threatening our democratic, diverse, and open society? Artistically, the spectrum ranges from traditional craft techniques to the new medium of artificial intelligence, which haunts invisibly.
Außerdem feiern wir gemeinsam die Wiedereröffnung der Artothek. At an Artothek [art library], you can rent art for a certain period of time at a reasonable price. It works just like a library. You can then hang the art in your home, office, or practice, for example. The artworks in the Artothek are by international and regional artists. More information about the Arthothek can be found here.
