Rebekka Endler’s non-fiction book explores canonisation in art. In other words, which works of art are considered particularly important. More often than not, these works are by men. The author uses numerous examples to demonstrate that the patriarchy exists. Patriarchy literally means a society ruled by men—that men make most of the decisions in our lives. Rebekka Endler shows how we can overcome this.
