Moulds take centre stage in this workshop. These moulds are made of wood with a pattern or a picture carved into them. A mould can be used to stamp images on baked goods. This has been done since the Middle Ages.
The designs on the moulds are forms of protest. You can eat them. And this means they have a direct connection to the human body. They protect people and improve their well-being. The moulds are authorless works. This means that we do not know who made a particular mould. In this workshop, we will make, bake, eat, and take home stamped biscuits.
The workshop is free of charge.
For people of all ages. Children should be accompanied by an adult.
15 people can take part in the workshop. Please register by 5 December at veranstaltung.kunsthalle@osnabrueck.de. There may still be places available for people to come without booking in advance.
