The Volxtheater of the Bethel Theatre Workshop has developed a new play. The play is called The Transformers. It was created in the exhibition spaces of the Kunsthalle Osnabrück. In dialogue with the works of art.
For the development of the new production, the themes of the artists
served as a source of ideas. But also their own understanding of
accessibility.
The group of about 15 played with the concept of accessibility and
conquered the premises of the Kunsthalle. The result is a performative,
collage-like piece, i.e. a piece made up of many individual images. It
is about the power of change, community and trial and error.
Three different performances will be shown. These will take place
simultaneously at different locations in the Kunsthalle Osnabrück. Each
performance lasts 15 minutes and is repeated a total of 4 times at
30-minute intervals.
The event takes place within the framework of the Theatertage Reality Check of the Theatre Osnabrück.
Supported by the Ministry of Culture and Science of North
Rhine-Westphalia, Regional Cultural Policy NRW, the Fonds Soziokultur
