How do we smell? How do we taste? How do our senses actually work? How can we consciously smell and taste? And what happens as a result? Smells often trigger feelings: We perceive them as pleasant, disgusting, calming or invigorating…
We have prepared several exercises. The exercises connect smelling and tasting with our own memories and stories. Together we will do research on Sunday, 21.11.2021 in the current exhibitions of the Kunsthalle Osnabrück. This will be followed by direct testing with prepared smelling and tasting samples at the Talk&Table table. This Talk&Table is an observation test for everyone who wants to experience: How surprisingly can the senses of smelling and tasting be extended by the sense of sight?
