Valentina Lucia is a dancer and choreographer. [A choreographer makes dance plays. She decides: How do the dancers dance the play?] Her dance play Nostalgia Nonni is about Valentina Lucia’s grandparents. They came to Germany from Italy. It is about the question: How did their Italian grandparents in Germany pass on important values and memories from their homeland to their children and grandchildren? Do the children and grandchildren also speak Italian? How can one talk about love when the grandchildren no longer speak the language of their grandparents? How do you talk about care and concern?
Many people came to Germany as guest workers. They were only wanted to work in Germany. What did that do to them?
Nostalgia Nonni celebrates migrant parents and grandparents. [Migrant means: the parents or grandparents came to Germany from another country and now live here].
The performance will take place here: Toros Restaurant, Bohmter Straße 13 A, 49074 Osnabrück
