Did you know that a landfill is full of small particle accelerators?
Fewer and fewer people use tube TVs to watch TV. But they are full of cool physics. We can use them as a means of artistic expression. There are particle accelerators that explore the origins of the universe. There are colliding electrons in the broken TVs. [Electrons are tiny, negatively charged elementary particles.] In this workshop, we use them to create light and sound in experiments. The workshop is hosted by artist Darsha Hewitt.
The workshop is part of the art mediation programme for the exhibition Paket ist abholbereit (08.07.2023-25.02.2024) by Aram Bartholl at Kunsthalle Osnabrück.
