The tour starts with the work Montags im Museum by Wilhelm Klotzek in the inner courtyard of the Kunsthalle. As part of the annual theme Kids, listen up! the sculptor has designed an “outdoor museum” for the inner courtyard of the Kunsthalle. His installation is an invitation to visitors and art educators to actively use the museum. The museum is understood here as a lively meeting place for everyone.
In the second part, the tour moves into the public space to three further sculptural works in the immediate vicinity of the Kunsthalle. Elisa Sommer, freelance mediator at the Kunsthalle Osnabrück, opens up a view of the connection between two public spaces as a defining moment for the legibility of artistic works.
