Together with the collective Autofabricantes,
Kunsthalle Osnabrück invites you to the digital workshop week
Human-Device-Human. Our bodies are individual – many things in our
everyday lives are standardised and make it physically difficult to
access and participate in social life. Current standards such as
mandatory masks, 2G-Plus or distance regulations also increase the
barriers in togetherness. In this workshop we want to experiment with
object and body. We want to investigate whether and how devices or
manufactured artefacts can mediate between body and world in different
scenarios and question them.
Over the course of seven days, all participants will receive
instructions that will encourage them to design a prototype (analogue or
digital), to carry out a performative everyday action or to solve a
small task. We would like to document our results and compile them in a
collective archive.
The workshop is led by Camila Renè Maggi and Francisco Díaz.
Both are members of the Autofabricantes working group. And they
co-founded the group. The working group is composed of different fields.
For example, new technologies, art, architecture, graphics, health and
science.
Participation is open to all people, with or without previous experience in creative, technical, scientific or social fields.
