The artist George Brecht gave a very special concert. But that was a long time ago. He stood on a ladder. He let water drip very slowly from a watering can into a container on the floor. Everyone listened very quietly. Play your own water concert. Perhaps there are other “dripping instruments”? How about a straw? Or a sponge?
The workshop is free of charge.
Children must register together with adults.
Registration is only possible via the holiday pass office.
Playing Up is a holiday programme focusing on performance art. A performance is action art. You can also say: It is a performance by individual artists or a group of artists. Something is presented. On a stage, in a museum or outdoors. Performances take places in many different locations. A performance is about a relationship between space, time, the artist and the audience.
This holiday programme aims to have adults and children playing together. Have you ever remote-controlled adults? Or given a drip concert together? Or even tried out a hairdressing salon in swapped roles? This holiday pass offer is aimed at children AND adults. You can try out the most incredible things and have fun together. Of course, it’s all art!
