Coming out means: I tell the people around me that I am
queer. [The word queer is a self-designation. For example, gay men,
lesbian women, bisexual people, trans people and inter people use it for
themselves].
Kunsthalle Osnabrück is having a coming out day. We meet at the
Kunsthalle. We take hot Polaroid photos in wild clothes from the costume
rental “Rüschen Plüsch” from the Haus of Udo. We make cool accessories.
We spend a creative afternoon together with friends. The Haus of Udo,
the Friends of Dorothy, the Starkids and YOU, if you are queer and/or a
“friend of queers”. [Friend of queers means: I am friends with queer
people.]
