You will find more than 1,000 artworks in the Artothek. These include paintings, drawings, photographs and sculptures. The artworks in the Artothek are by international and regional artists. Since November 2025, some of the artworks from the Artothek can be rented again. There are a few new features: You can now select and reserve artworks in an online catalog.
An Artothek always creates meeting places where we can engage with art and discuss it. That is why the Artothek has been given its own space in the Kunsthalle. There, Head of Collection Anna Holms will talk to invited artists from the Artothek. Together, we will discuss the innovations of the Artothek and look at selected works of art.
In this issue, we talk to painter and performer Žana Vojvodić. Her works deal with personal memories and everyday experiences. She paints a space on canvas that reveals her inner feelings and thoughts. Using many expressive colors and typical motifs, she depicts memories and ideas as if in a dream.
