Jovana Reisinger

Jovana Reisinger is an artist, film maker and writer. The way she tells stories in her films is very unique. Also humorous. It is about women’s rights and the coexistence of people. Jovana Reisinger developed an installation for the church of the Kunsthalle. Some of her older films will be shown there. Also, the church itself will become the setting for her video series Men in Trouble. Six of the videos will be shot in the church. It is a series of conversations. The conversations are funny and tragic at the same time. They will take place during the exhibition’s run time. The audience is invited to visit the shootings. The conversations are about the following questions: What is masculine? What is feminine? What makes a person beautiful? Who holds the power? Who is excluded? Why doesn’t everyone have the same rights? Jovana Reisinger films these videos with the actress Julia Riedler. And also with the actors and actresses of the Spielclub of the theatre of Osnabrück. The new videos will be shown on our website from 13/01/2021. They will also be shown at the Cinema Arthouse in Osnabrück.
