“Homegrown” means something that is homemade and created at home.
Eva Lause started the project “AMU” (Art Mash-Up). Eva Lause is an artist, curator, and art educator. [A curator selects art for an exhibition or festival. An art educator talks to people about art. For example, in guided tours or workshops.] The project took place in the years 2025 and 2026.
The project realizes many different events for and with artists from Osnabrück. One Project is now on display as the exhibition “Homegrown.” The exhibition is taking place at the same time in three locations: the Kunsthalle Osnabrück, the skulptur-galerie, and the KunstQuartier-BBK. At the locations 13 artists from Osnabrück will be on display in March and April. There are group exhibitions and solo exhibitions. The artists in the exhibition were selected by a jury. The jury had five members. Sixty-seven artists and artist groups applied.
